It never ceases to amaze me the number of seeds in a pumpkin, even a small one. Before roasting my little pumpkins the other day, I made sure to separate the seeds from the guts for later roasting and snacking.
Now for some reason I have never had really good luck with additional flavorings on seeds, but I decided to try again anyway, this time opting for a combo of salt, sugar, and cocoa powder.
The result? Meh. I really couldn't taste the cocoa at all. They were just salty. Good, but just salty. Sigh. I will probably try again...
